Efficacy of Formulated Feed Preference and Stocking Density on Growth and Survival of Baby Pila globosa Reared in Laboratory Condition

Quality diet as food for raising freshwater snails under laboratory conditions has a significant effect on their growth and the number of egg clutches laid well size snail. Now days, some innovative farmers Bangladesh started snail culture within fish farms in view producing to use feed Prawn (Macrobrachiam rosenbergii), indigenous catfish (Clarius batrachus) farms, domestic duck also protein supplement preparing feed. From previous study we know that Bulinus nyassanus survive rate was found locally formulated consisting 30% crude with ingredients comprising meal, maize bran, rice soya bean, wheat hemicellulose (binder), vitamin premix mineral premix. But no such research been done case apple The present aimed investigate formulation preferred by Pila globosa species effects survival these condition. Three type viz., pellet feed, meal 50% + crusted khudipana were used experiment high low stocking density baby snails. findings shown diets order preference based meal+ crushed khudipana. After rearing 28 highest 0.32g 86.66% 60nos/L 0.35g 90% 30nos/L density. It`s indicate reared lower gave better performance terms mean than those other diets.
